K-6th Basketball 2025 - Winter 2025

This is a recreational basketball league for boys and girls in K-6th grades that attend or reside in the Bethel School District. Participants are placed on teams by grade and school and play at BSD school gyms.

Practices: held on weeknights and begin the week of November 10. 

Games: Teams will play 6 games on weeknights and Saturdays beginning December 10-February 7.

Cost:  $90

Register anytime online- September 21-October 12 11:00PM

Important: Please register by the deadline, OCTOBER 12.    To register late (after OCTOBER 12) you will need to enroll on the wait list.  Late registration may result in the player not playing with their school or possibly not playing at all. A Program Coordinator will contact you if your child is able to be placed on a team. 

A late fee of $10 will be issued after the deadline.

Winter Girls Cheerleading 2025 - Winter 2025

This is a recreational cheerleading program for girls in Kindergarten-5th grade that attend or reside in the Bethel School District.  This fun program is designed to teach the participants the fundamentals of cheerleading including basic cheers and motions. Participants are placed on cheer squads by school and coached by parent volunteers. Each squad will be scheduled to cheer for 6 basketball games.

Practices will be held on weeknights and begin the week of November 10.  Practice nights are based on volunteer coach scheduling. Parents will be contacted after the coaches meeting held in early November.

Games will be held on Saturdays and weeknights and begin on December 10-February 7.

COST: $90 (includes shirt, bow & poms)

Important: Please make every effort to register by the registration deadline. Late registration may result in the player not playing with their school or possibly not playing at all. BHS Fall Cheer Clinic - Fall 2025

Who:  Boys & Girls K-8th Grade

When: Tuesday, October 21 & Thursday, October 23

Time:  5:30PM-7:30PM (check in begins at 5:00PM)

Where: Cougar Mountain Middle School- Main Gym

Cost: FREE (includes camp T-shirt) Limited to first 75 participants.

(Priority will be given to students that have never participated in the sport before)

Camp Details: Please come join this fun fall cheer clinic that includes health & wellness with healthy snacks.  The Bethel High School cheer squad will be volunteering to help campers learn the proper fundamentals and skills for cheerleading along with cheers and chants. The clinic will also include a short performance at 7:30PM on October 23 for parents and families to enjoy. No experience needed! Just wear athletic attire and bring a water bottle.

GK Lacrosse Camp - Fall 2025

Who:  Boys & Girls K-8th Grade

When: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19

Time:  1:00PM-4:00PM (check in begins at 12:30PM)

Where: ART CRATE FIELD

Cost: FREE (includes camp T-shirt) Limited to first 100 participants.

(Priority will be given to students that have never participated in the sport before)

Camp Details: Ready for something fun and new? Bethel Rec. and GK Eagles Lacrosse Club are hosting a 3-hour beginner lacrosse camp for boys and girls in grades K–8. Learn to pass, catch, cradle, and shoot with guidance from club coaches and high school players—no experience needed! Just bring athletic shoes and a water bottle.

Spanaway Lake Sentinel Wrestling Camp - Fall 2025

Who:  Boys & Girls K-5th Grade

When: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18

Times:  9:00AM-12:00PM (check in begins at 8:30am)

Where: Spanaway Middle School

Cost: FREE (includes camp T-shirt) Limited to first 100 participants.

3rd-8th Girls Volleyball 2025 - Fall 2025

This is a recreational volleyball league for girls in the 3rd-8th grades that attend or reside in the Bethel School District. Participants are placed on teams by grade and school. Each team will practice twice a week and will be scheduled for 6 games in local BSD gyms. Teams are coached by registered parent volunteers. 

Practices will be held on weeknights and begin the week of September 15.  Practice nights are based on volunteer coach scheduling. Parents will be contacted after the coaches meeting held in early Sept.

Games will be held on Saturdays and begin on Saturday, September 27-November 1.

K-6th Grade Flag Football 2025 - Fall 2025

This is a recreational flag football league for boys and girls in Kindergarten-6th grades that attend or reside in the Bethel School District. Participants are placed on teams by grade and school.  Teams will practice twice a week and play 6 games on local BSD fields.

Practices are held on weeknights and begin the week of September 15. Practice nights are based on volunteer coach scheduling. Parents will be contacted after the coaches meeting held in early September. 

Games will be played on Saturdays and begin Saturday, September 27-November 1. Some double header games will be played.

K-2nd grade is a passing league with the coach as quarterback.  There are only pass plays in this league.

3rd-6th grade flag football involves run and passing plays with player quarterbacks.
