Spanaway Summer Cheer Camp - Summer 2026

Please join the Spanaway Lake High School cheer squad in their Bethel Rec. Summer camp. The Junior and Mini Sentinel Campers will learn proper fundamentals and skills for cheerleading, cheers, chants and low level stunting (Junior Sentinels).The camp will also include fun games and crafts and a performance on the last day of camp for parents to enjoy. The camp will be led by the high school cheer coaches as well as current SLHS cheerleaders. 

Who:  Boys and Girls K-8th Grades (fall)

 When: August 19, 20 & 21

Mini Sentinels- (K-2nd Grades)

9:00AM-11:30AM

Junior Sentinels- (3rd-8th Grades)

1:00PM-3:30PM

Where: Spanaway Lake High School

Cost: $90 (includes t-shirt, poms & crafts)

All participants must be registered prior to camp. No Walk-Up registrations.

Extended Registration Deadline:  August 10th

After the deadline you must register on the wait list and placement is not guaranteed.

3rd-8th Girls Volleyball 2026 - Fall 2026

This is a recreational volleyball league for girls in the 3rd-8th grades that attend or reside in the Bethel School District. Participants are placed on teams by grade and school. Each team will practice twice a week and will be scheduled for 6 games in local BSD gyms. Teams are coached by registered parent volunteers. 

Practices will be held on weeknights and begin the week of September 14.  Practice nights are based on volunteer coach scheduling. Parents will be contacted after the coaches meeting held in early Sept.

Games will be held on Saturdays and begin on Saturday, September 26-October 31.

K-6th Grade Flag Football 2026 - Fall 2026

This is a recreational flag football league for boys and girls in Kindergarten-6th grades that attend or reside in the Bethel School District. Participants are placed on teams by grade and school.  Teams will practice twice a week and play 6 games on local BSD fields.

Practices are held on weeknights and begin the week of September 14. Practice nights are based on volunteer coach scheduling. Parents will be contacted after the coaches meeting held in early September. 

Games will be played on Saturdays and begin Saturday, September 26-October 31. Some double header games will be played.

K-2nd grade is a passing league with the coach as quarterback.  There are only pass plays in this league.

3rd-6th grade flag football involves run and passing plays with player quarterbacks.

Fall Girls Cheerleading 2026 - Fall 2026

This is a recreational cheerleading program for girls in Kindergarten-5th grade that attend or reside in the Bethel School District.  This fun program is designed to teach the participants the fundamentals of cheerleading including basic cheers and motions. Participants are placed on cheer squads by school and coached by parent volunteers. Each squad will be scheduled to cheer for 6 flag football games.

Practices will be held on weeknights and begin the week of September 14.  Practice nights are based on volunteer coach scheduling. Parents will be contacted after the coaches meeting held in early September.

Games will be held on Saturdays and begin on Saturday, September 26-October 31.
